Wouldn’t it be nice to be in Paris in the spring time?
To stand beneath the Eiffel Tower and dream Parisian dreams.
I have no idea what Parisian dreams are, but they sound terribly fancy.
This little quilt is called Dreaming of Paris.
It continues my mild case of obsessive ricrac disorder. I’ve used a two charm packs of Dream On by Urban Chiks. These fabric designs were based on vintage sheets. A dark grey silhouette of the Eiffel Tower looks beautiful against their floral goodness.
Today I am happy to offer this design – Dreaming of Paris – to you as a free download. Just click here to download a free pattern.
If you do download this pattern won’t you please consider taking the $5.00 that you might have paid me for the pattern and donating it to the Premier’s Flood Relief Appeal. You should also pop over to Toni’s blog and see the amazingy long list of wonderful crafty items available for auction and raffle.
The raffle on this blog for a Millie Molly Dolly bag has already reached $200 (amazing!), but it will remain open until the 24th of January. Lots of new readers have visited this blog in the past week, looking at the raffle. Hello to them!
I really like this quilt. Now all I need to do is find some fabric and spare time to make it! Thank you 🙂
I know where to find fabric, but as to spare time… I’m at a loss!
As soon as my sister sees this, I will have to be in my sewing room making it, so thanks for giving up the pattern!
I look forward to seeing your quilt… or will it be your sister’s quilt?
Obsessive ricrac disorder you say? I think I might be a sufferer too. PS Great design!
It is my favourite disorder…
Tracey, this looks fantastic. I love this range of fabric. Very nice indeed. Congrats on the auction price of the Milly Mollie Dollie Bag. Who wouldn’t want one.
It has gone up even higher since I posted this!
OH MY GOODNESS!
So many things to love – the Eiffel Tower first and foremost (I am obsessed with that iconic Tower lol)
The beautiful colors of the fabric. The rick-rack —
Oh how I wish you made that for ME!!! 🙂 lol
Great work – great blog

What is not to love about the Eiffel Tower. It is unbelievably beautiful with its metal lacework. I hope you’ll make your own and let me see it.
Stunning!!!…and Ric Rac too – how special!
I’d love to ricrac the entire world. We’d all be happy every day.
Good luck on your first days at work.
So adorable!
I also wonder where Parisians dream about being. If they are thinking of taking a romantic holiday where on earth do they go?
Surely their lives are endlessly romantic and they never need to dream about leaving to have a romantic holiday!?
This is beautiful! Now if only I could convince my daughter to love girly things such as this rather than Star Wars! 🙂
You should just make it for yourself. I have no doubt you deserve it.
