Four Years

Can you imagine that I started this blog four years ago?

That means that I have managed to sustain my attention and shown commitment for four whole years. For someone like me, with easily distracted syndrome, this is an amazing accomplishment.

I started this as a quilting blog, then somewhere along the way my whole life became involved. Recently I have moved back to my quilting. As my kids get older their lives are their own, not mine to share any more. (although I am sure they would dispute my alleged discretion)

I don’t think I’ve run out of things to say and things to share just yet. Can you imagine if I continued for another four years?

  1. Wow. Four years. Where did that time go? Like most TV series I watch, I think I dropped into your bloglife about three and a half years ago, so missed the first few episodes. I hope nothing really good happened then? Maybe I’ll have to wait for the re-runs?

It’s been a blast sharing your quilting, your life, your family, your musings and most of all your incredible wisdom and enduring optimism.

  2. Congrats! Four years is a long time 🙂 I just starting following quilting blogs earlier this year — thus, I am looking forward to your next four years!!

  12. I think I’ve been reading for almost 4 years. My blog turned 4 in July but I missed the anniversary (typical) and I can’t imagine life without it really, all the friends I’ve made. I really do count you as one of the fabbest friends I’ve met through this blogging lark and am looking forward to seeing you again soon. Congratulations on 4 yers of Peppermint Patcher.
