Missed It By That Much

I had four seams left to finish a quilt top. A total of fifteen minutes of sewing was all that was needed when I found this…

My maths was wrong and I cut the white border half an inch too narrow.

After muttering more than one curse word I reassured myself that I have plenty more white fabric and I just need to cut another four borders.

Once I stop sulking I’ll do just that.

  1. It happens to all of us at one time or another!

  2. Don’t you hate when that happens!! It is easy enough to do.

  3. Yes, that happens to me all the time too…

Cos as you know, I have made so many quilts…

    OK. I’m lying.

  4. Does the quilt being 1″ narrower and shorter matter that much? Truly? I get completely hung up on maths, so to a certain extend I understand, but I do wonder whether I’d bother to change this.

(Now, if my points weren’t considered to be “pointy enough” – that would be a different matter entirely). 😦

  5. So were the curse words the same word repeated or a string of different curse words?

Looking forward to seeing the quilt top right side up.
