Funky Flowers

A new quilt in progress…

using my lovely new fabrics.

Generally I give quilts a working title, then think of a more appropriate name when I write the pattern.

This time I think Funky Flowers may go from working title to quilt name.

It would appear to be the perfect name.

You can see more photos on the Peppermint Patch Quilts facebook page.

    Ooooo. Lovely flowers would work well too.

    I love the way the stems and leaves go across the plain(er) blocks linking the whole, rather than just appliqued single blocks. Lovely.

  12. I’m impressed that you have good scissors that no else dare touch. I often find my “good” scissors being used to open plastic cartons…cut twigs…slash cardboard.

    ARrrghhhh.

    Oh – and I *LOVE* the funky flowers.

  13. I made a typo in my email address and HEY! I’m no longer a crab.

    Bet I am now though.

  14. Yep. The crab is back.
