Wow – looks amazing.
I’ve been there only once, one night in 1973. On the way to Sydney. We tried to find somewhere open for dinner and the entire place was shut.
I’d love to go again and see everything.
Love those stained-glass windows and the sailor in mosaic. Fabulous.
Wishing you and Yours a wonderful Year in 2010
My Mum used to work at Old Parliament House (and the New One too) I feel strangely familiar with both places.
Hope Ashy is back with you by now.
She is here! We picked her up from the Canberra airport this afternoon. We have all been bossed around and feel much better.
So glad you are being bossed, taking gorgeous photos and saw the War Memorial…
I love old Parliament House. Is the portrait gallery still there? When we went, there was the most amazing portrait of Debra Mailman (it won the packers prize at the Archibald). Welcome back beautiful girl.
That’s a LOT of driving. Goodness me. Glad you’re having fun.
Canberra is a great place to visit. Continue having fun!
Tracey these photos are stunning. I particularly love the botanical shots and that typewriter is almost identical to my Grandfather’s – you’ve stirred many memories. So glad you’re having such a great trip. Emma x
Lots of textures! Interesting perspectives!
I adore the mosaics at the war memorial, they’re breathtaking!
